: If you follow the offsets in the book you will get flat tops on those forms,
: this is where the recessed cockpit will be cut out so you need only strip
: to that height and leave the other strips overhanging where the cockpit
: will be cut. I built mine this way with no problem but I think the extra
: offsets to make the breakaway forms would have helped a little, especially
: when it came time to lay out the cockpit recess. If you plan on any kind
: of fancy strip design on the deck they could be helpful there as well.
