One more thing:

I would test that the sticky thing is actually blush and not uncured epoxy. It's possible to have surface coated that at the end the epoxy is actually non curing. It happens when mixing has not done properly by scraping the cup sides. First you'll apply good epoxy, but at the bottom there's epoxy with wrong mix ratio.

Some epoxies blush more if temp is lower. So maybe the other side had some degrees lower temp during cure? Did you coat one side first?

: Thanks guys. It's very wet and misreable in Ireland at the moment so may not
: be helping the cause but strange how one side was fine and the other is a
: pain. The other thing that just occurred to me was maybe it hadn't cured
: properly because of the weather but I put both coats on at the same time
: so seems unlikely?.
: Plenty of water and scubbing tonight after work then.
: As always thanks for the advise
: Pat
