Here is another picture. I don't have plans or anything, I put 'em together with some PVC pipe and fittings I had left over from an irrigation project. Material's list: 1" sch40 PVC Pipe, 8- caps, 2- 90º elbows, 2- 45º elbows, 2- 1/4 carriage bolts with washers & nuts, nylon webbing, pvc primer & glue. From the pivot bolt down, the length of the angled legs is 1.414* the length of the straight leg. Among other things, they come in handy when car-topping for setting the boat on to rinse off all the sand & gunk from the boat and drying it off a bit before putting it on the car (I hate getting sand and salt water on my vehicles, though it does matter much less when using the trailer).
