Hi Bob,
I just went out and checked in my Spring Run. I am 5'10" and 165. I can just get my knee's past the lip one at a time when sitting in the kayak. But my seat back is about 4" forward of the rear of the cockpit so if it was further back I would have more room. But if you plan to do any layback rolls you may not want to move all the way back. I hope this has helped some.
