IMHO, I think building the stem and stern would be very difficult with that approach. What would you do, build them and then try and split them down the middle GOOD LUCK. Also, Of all the places I would want reinforcement other than buildup in the keel, would be along the gunwales. It's easy to hide overlaping layers of glass at the gunwales and would look lousy on deck. I see no point or advantage, just more problems. Why not stick with tried and true methods?
