If you are really interested in learning Greenland techniques, I have two thoughts for you to consider- if you do it right both primary and secondary stability will become irrelevant, and both the Njord and OI are pretty high volume. They'll still work fine (Dubside rolls a 36" wide sit-on-top in his rolling video), but you might be better served considering a Black Pearl. If you can't decide between the Njord and Black Pearl, you might try dropping Bjorn an email and discuss it with him. Tell him what you plan to do with the boat, your experience, and your concerns, and ask him which is better. I have also had the seriousest of serious Greenland-technique paddlers recommend the Petryl. Also- I guess I have three comments- none of this matters if you really like building boats. Just move on to the next design if you don't like it.
