: I've had a few ideas floating around like hot gluing the nut and
: washers to a stick or the end of a box end wrench. I will be using
: stainless steel fasteners and webbing. Any other ideas?
1)put a length of wire thru the hole and back to the washer and nut and wire stop off, some thick glue on the upper nut and washer surface and pull both to be exactly aligned (maybe wrap lower part of wire w/ some tape or use thin wire to poke align) to where you want it below hole. let set up, remove wire and then proceed to carefully put bolt in while maybe holding the back w/ the scrap wood.
2)use long threaded rod of correct size(if you can get it) and pull back through and use nut on top as well - then cut off. proceed to next one.
3)or don't use the ugly ss fasteners and just put slots in hull, and thread stopped (and sealanted) webloops back up thru the slots - much cleaner looking and get the lines to lay more where you want them.
