I decided to go ahead and add a fill coat while I had everything taped to protect the hull. It went much quicker than I had anticipated - using a roller and a bit of tipping with a brush. Now on to glassing the underside of the deck.

: I scraped and sanded a lot of heavy runs and got the glass on today. Do I
: have to add a fill coat right away? If I do it days later I assume I would
: have to sand first, which would run the risk of cutting into the cloth. I
: would like to avoid doing any more resin work for a while because it does
: not agree with me even though I am using an organic vapor respirator which
: eliminates the smell.

: Thanks for all your suggestions,
