In Response To: Strip: rolling bevel: first stripper => gaps inside hull (Chris Sperry)
Chris,
On my boat I chose to fill tiny gaps at the initial sanding stage. Up to about 1/6" gaps were filled with yellow glue and thin shavings of wood (planer shavings mostly), up to 2 or 3 pieces, that were trimmed flush then sanded after about 20 or 30 minutes. Smaller gaps were filled by mixing yellow glue and sanding dust right on the hull and tooling into the gaps as they appeared, a thick mixture sands well in about 15 minutes. The color match is decent as the sanding dust comes from the area being filled.
