Assuming you got an external strongback. I'd remove the legs from the strongback and move it as a unit. A boat trailer could do pretty well if you take it slow. You did not say how far and what speeds. Most trailers you rent would be sprung too stiff to give a good ride. Thats why a trailer for a small boat may be better. Best would be car topping if you have the capability.
