I'm just about ready to start the fiberglassing phase of my Micro-Bootlegger and
have been obsessing over what size/type of epoxy mixing supplies to get and am hoping for some wise advice. My goal is to get a good job with sensible cost, but I'm not super cheap.
I'll be using Raka epoxy on 4oz standard weave on the outside and 6oz 45x45 stitched on the inside. I just don't know what size a good workable batch of resin is.
Should I get the pumps? Will they pump too big of a batch?
What's a good size for mixing cups: 8, 16, 32oz? Graduated plastic (reuseable) or disposable paper?
Should I mess with a bubble roller, or depend on a squeegee?
Thanks all,
