Jim - I would think you could put the strongback up on your racks on the truck. If it was started with a conventional strongback, you could screw in two 2 x 4 cross pieces on the bottom of the strongback that align with your bars and then strap them to the bars on the truck. You would need two people to put in on and off, but I think that would work fine.
