Just was thinking about something because of Ross's statement. There is probably a physiological side too. I have a longer boat and I think it is makes me faster, so you probably do go faster. Just by working a bit harder.

I have not seen this yet, but my buddy just bought this 21' Kevlar rocket. No doubt it is a fast boat. But I bet the physiology of having a long boat makes him faster too. He was telling me about what a great glide it had and how he could just rocket up to the front of the pack. He was psyched up and convinced before he put his bottom in it.
