Well not exactly experience with a dayton bandsaw. I had a Dayton tablesaw for a couple of years. It was ok, but not great. I would imagine the table trunion is where they may have taken their cost savings... I really think the best way on this one is to get a real close look at it. Check the balance of the wheels, the bearings spin smooth, the motor is at least 1/2 or 3/4 hp, table is flat...then it's probably fine. I'd still try to bargin to $150 though.
