In Response To: Seeking: Shipping to Canada (Gordon Clarke)

I had a Redfish King kit shipped to Ottawa, Ontario a couple of years ago. It cost about $200 for the various brokerage fees, taxes, etc... Everything was done though a brokerage company that took care of all the paper work. All I had to do was fax a couple of signatures to them. Overall it was relatively simple and well worth the cost, IMO.

: I live in Canada and am considering purchasing a kayak kit from a USA
: company. Can anyone comment on the costs (i.e. customs, duties)or problems
: with shipping one across the border?
: Thanks
