I finally got a chance to work on my band saw yesterday.. The motor still had water in it! Pretty cruddy inside, but I got it cleaned up and it works! The bearings seem a little bit louder than they were, but not much. I can put off buying a new motor or saw now. I have managed to save 2 other motors, my Craftsman 10" 2 HP table saw and my jet dust collector system. All of these were completely under water. The good part about the table saw and dust collector is that the motors are open framed and the water drained when it went down.
