Howdy, y'all,

I have finally begun work on the S&G Night Heron, plans of which I purchased from Nick last December. I laid out the plans on the floor and cut them out, organised them into groups (bulkheads together, hull, deck, etc) and stored them on top of my desk. During the winter I will impress them onto 4-mm marine grade mahogany plywood, cut them out, shape them and get on with the contruction. I figure on having this project completed by Spring thaw. I suppose I could get it done in a month but I am in no hurry and besides, I still have work to do on the book. Up to page 54 so far.
