Look at LaughingLoons Shooting Star. 16 1/2 feet x 21 inches. I usually weigh 150 at 5'7" but 20 lbs heaver here. I wanted a fast kayak to workout with. Several people said the SS was fast so I built it. Two years ago I went to Ft. Wayne in a kayak race meet that I thought was just local people getting together. There were seven world sea kayak champion racers there one of them the current champion at that time. Anyway the SS was fast enough to stay right with them for just a couple of minutes but I was just about dead. So the SS can be fast if you have the horse paddling it.
