Everyone else seems to so here is my announcement - the (first) Mac50L, (accompanied by the original Mac50) was launched today in a finished condition. This means that the first time it got wet she wasn't finished. A light wind, 10-15 knots some white caps and nice little waves to surf on. At 510 mm beam she is "responsive". The light weight, 18 kg including everything (rudder, pedals, hatch covers etc.) also helps. It also helps that I'm under 70 kg. She seems very stable after paddling a tortured ply hull for the last few years.

The sun shines and summer is coming....

The mention of the first Mac50L also refers to one being built and hasn't been finished yet (???), it appears there are slower builder than me.
