Btw, Tom Yost's Sea Glider should be a really fast boat. I built a lengthened Sea Ranger and it's very fast and is very similiar to the SG, just an inch wider at 19". The longer SR is just the SR with over long ends, ended up about 19 1/2' long. Almost no wake at all no matter how fast you paddle.
