I'll second that about dulling the blade...plus If there is carbon fiber in the layup, you'll see sparks! I cut some fiberglass/CC pad eyes over 8 months ago and didn't use the saw again until recently. I was wondering why it was taking me 10 minutes to cut a 2 foot long veneer when it dawned on me what was going on.
