I bought a Werner Cyprus last year. It is by far the best paddle I've used. For my shoulders, injured during climbing, the blade size is perfect. The blade has a foam core which adds buoyancy to the paddle. I didn't like that at first, but after awhile, it grew on my and it's very hard to use a paddle without the extra float. Plus, it's so light. I also bought it shorter than my other touring paddles, but longer than my whitewater paddle and I've found the shorter size to be more efficient for me.

Worth finding a demo paddle and taking it out from a couple of days.
