Hi,
I tend to agree with Charlie.
You are better of just going with a single 6 oz layer inside and out except for the football. You can make that lighter for the deck, but I wouldn't go lighter than 4 oz there. Double layers tend to cause twice the problems when you want to get them to conform to the shape of the hull and four layers four times the difficulty if not more. Keep it simple.
