Perhaps this is good time to post a progress photo on my Guillemot. This weekend I am finishing stripping around the cockpit, and find this stripping phase to be an interesting part of the process. This has been a design-as-you go deck, and the rolling bevel construction lends itself to this approach.

I am looking forward to pulling staples, and getting on with the next phase. What? Looking forward to sanding? Well, not so much. But I am looking forward to getting the deck and hull fiberglassed, so I can get on to building a graphite cockpit coaming, and some good solid hatches.
