I covered it with 9 oz nylon, wet it and let it tighten up in the sun and it did not come out as tight as my previous traditional style boat, so I don't think it was the skin. I believe it was the 30" spacing of the cockpit and the way the chines are aligned with the gunale.

: What'd you cover it with? Some covers can crush frames. Comparing two frames
: one done in nylon that can't be heat shrunk with a similiar frame covered
: with cotton or dacron that can easily be shrunk can give dramatically
: different results.
