: mixing the epoxy when it's warmer than cold when trapping the bubbles more
: readily in thicker epoxy. In other words getting the peak room temp at 70
: instead or 65 before it's falling, or the epoxy at 75 instead of 65.
: You could eliminate a source of texture/dust that can hold bubbles(a guess)
: if you were to eliminate the sanding between coats and saved the sanding
: efforts once the largest buildup is applied. In other words apply fill
: coats as each coat is partially cured. For example three fill coats, and
: extra 'bits' on edges without sanding. Sand, then another coat with extra
: bits on the sharp corners before final sanding.
: I wonder if you're looking too hard at things, outgassing bubbles are a
: heinous mess but a few bubbles per square foot can be brushed out.

That's why at this time of the year I always ask about the temperature first. Storing the epoxy in the garage where it gets cool/cold at night means it can take days for it to warm up enough to be thin enough to work well. In any weather other than summer it's a good idea to take the epoxy into a warm space when you're not using it.
