The difficulties are various Reg, Bill.
1) The fin has to rotate on two axes through 90 degrees on one axis and at least 30 degrees on the other and remain controllable or it has to rotate on one axis and lift on the other.
2) This rotation has to be applied from outside the housing by cable and the entrance points are fixed so a degree flexibility is needed within the housing in various directions to remain in control of the fin.
3) To raise the fin is another problem. One can use the force of forward movement to centre the fin and design can help there, or a pedal movement is required.
I've got them all sorted individually, but I want it to be simple and fixable on a trip and that is the difficulty. KIS has been mentioned by Reg and that seems to have stopped him. It is my problem too.
