Hey Kurt,

I'm glad you already own a compressor, or I'd really be in the hot seat!

The stapler is super for stripping, but it needs the depth gauge. I first tried operating the stapler at a very low pressure to keep the staple off the wood, but the strike was not retracting fully at the low pressure, and would cause a miss-fire. Adding the depth gauge and setting the pressure at about 100 lbs cured the problem, and the staples could be left standing off the cedar strips.

In addition to eliminating any squeeze induced tendonitis, the P/C stapler gives the added benefit of the tiny staple hole. I have no plans for any additional efforts in hiding staple holes. Pretty much glass n' go as suggested by Jay Babina.
