: I am getting close to glassing my first Great Auk but I have a few areas,
: staple holes which I missed and some seams. I have done most of my sanding
: and I am looking for a suggestion as to what to use for filler which will
: sand easily and is readily accessible. I have used a mixture of Tite Bond
: and saw dust but it is difficult to sand these spots after the mixture
: hardens. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
On the one boat I have built, the staple holes that look the worst are the ones I tried to fill, the ones I left alone are hardly noticable. The epoxy filled them just fine. On my next boat I will do nothing with the staple holes.
