I noticed the same things about the Endurance 18 hull. I became interested enough to try designing and building something like this. There are some pictures of my project on Ross Leidy's site. Look under the title "New boat started". I call it the E-18. Stripping is complete, now if I just had a warm enough work space to fiberglass.
