Scott,
Please keep us posted how it goes, esp. on the water trials when the boat is ready. I consider the possibility of building similar boat in fall 09 and would appreciate to have a guidance from someone who's been there.
What attracts me to this shape is the fact that
1. It is very fast-look at the link below-the guy (look for Franklin) claims go have gone ~9.5 MPH in Epic. How many other 18-foot sea kayaks can do that?
+
2. At the same time it is reasonably stable, based on the paddlers impressions and the stability curve.
