Hi,

Thanks for the replies - I'll have a look at the program you suggested, Kudzu.

Bill - thanks for the input. The TK1 I am modifying is an older design so has more volume than newer boats, and is also hard-chined so I am looking to see what I can do with 'rounding' the forms (or at least the corners) for a strip-built version, and perhaps reduce volume a bit. The length and min beam are set so I need to work around that, hence looking at doing it via software rather than trial and error on paper.

And yes, much less stable than sea kayaks! But I'm getting into a K1 now so even the Tk's seem stable.
