John and I have a little game where we rip off each others' ideas, improve 'em a little to make the other guy feel dumb, then show up at a boat show or whatever and really rub it in. Then rinse and repeat ad nauseum pretty much on an annual basis. The good news is that, in the process, we really perfect some concepts; our paddle parks are STATE of the freakin' ART, dude...

And now ... here's your big chance to figure out a really cool way to do those under-deck bungees, since you're hip to the concept, and make both of us look dumb (not really a difficult thing) while improving an idea for everyone who comes after you. I say, go for it!!

But in case you're in a hurry, I just stapled the ends together and epoxied 'em in place, and after the schmoo cured, mixed a dookie-schmutz and made little fillets around 'em. When I put a set in an existing boat I roughed up the areas with like 30-grit sandpaper first, then did essentially as I've just described. I've never had a loop come loose, miracles of miracles.
