Paddles good. Doesn't seem to weathercock. Relatively roomy. Rolls OK (needs some thigh bracing). Very lightweight. Took 3-4 weeks to finish, for about $150 in materials.

Anyway, it's an amusing 3 minute video that shows most of the steps involved in building a non-traditional SOF kayak. The other frame in the video is one I was building simultaneously - a Yost Sea Rider, which I lovelovelove (for two hours, max, as there is hardly any wiggle room for the legs).
