I assume you are referring to my pic, since it's the only black boat. First, thanks! It's an older Greenland style S&G design, a "North Bay." It's pretty, but also pretty specialized. Long and relatively cramped and narrow (and twitchy). I think there are better designs out there these days, but I definitely enjoyed the heck out of that boat whenever I paddled it. If I built another North Bay, I'd install a retractable skeg.
