: I went reading about acid dyes this morning. I noticed they mentioned vat
: dying which I assume is aimed at big jobs and industry but it made me
: wonder. Is there a reason not to dye a skin before it is applied to the
: boat? I realize it is probably not practical and would take more dye, just
: curious if there is a dreaw back if you had the means to do that?
I suspect with nylon it will effect the shrinking on the frame since nylon shrinks and/or expands depending on moisture/humidity.
