Thanks everyone for the responses. I did get Cunningham's book also in that book he thickens the bottom of the rib to flatten the bottom of the hull. I will steam because it is new to me and I want to learn how. So I will build a box and try some samples. Think I will laminate the masik if I just have to glue something.
