Gives me an idea...I have a canadian maple leaf painted on my kayak and it has the quebec fleur-de-lis and metis symbol painted over top (smaller symbols)...I could do that with rice paper and glue it to my paddle blades as you have. I could easily download the required images from the net...in fact, my paint work was messy (rush job) so I could produce one for the kayak as well. Most excellent idea...glad you posted this. It's an old idea that I knew about previously but didn't think about before because I didn't have a good color printer at home - got one now.
