I add fumed silica to thicken epoxy for fillets and add just enough sanding dust for the color to match the epoxy wetted plywood. I make the fillets and let the epoxy set to rubber (about two hours) then apply and wetout the tape. Let that set until sticky and press out any bubbles or raised edges. If it pops up wait some more for a harder tack and press it down again. I do not use glass tape under 6 oz glass cloth. And since I cover the inside of my cockpit and the entire outside with 6 oz cloth, I only use seam tape inside the compartments.

Fillets should be thick enough so after rounding the outside of the chines the remaining plywood and fillet should be at least as thick as the original plywood thickness (1/8 inch for a 4mm plywood hull).
