A small review of my Iggy so far!
Yesterday I took the Iggy to aan indoor pool, to learn some more rolling. So far I have C2C, sweep and butterfly roll on my repetoire.
The class was on sculling roll and brace. Full og confidense I (and a promise of the coach who was willing to help me with learning the handroll) I brought along a throwing board. The sculling brace and roll were in place in a short time. I tried on the balance brace, but couldnt keep floating for more than 20 seconds, so that will take some practice.
Norsaq roll was succesfull in my second attempt, and handroll was succesfull too. The last 5 attempts was all succesfull. All this in a 2½ hour class.
The teacher took the iggy out to compare it with the Qaanaaq 480 he had taken to the class, judging the Iggy to be just as easy to roll, but quite a bit more stable for just paddling.
So the review must end up like this:
Are you looking for a rolling kayak the Iggy should be part of your considerations
