: I have taught a boat building class at the local community college here in
: Bend, Oregon for the last 3 years and wanted to show off the last's class
: work. It's a scaled down Great Auk. It took 8 weeks, meeting once or twice
: a week for 3 hours each time to complete. WRC, Pauduk, Basswood. 36 lbs.
: Stapled hull, stapleless deck. They did a nice job.

I'd say they did a real nice job
Teaching these classes is fun, wish more of our experienced folks would do that. I'm now teaching a class at our local kayak store building a Tom Yost SOF, but we've only got 6 Saturdays for 3 hours each day to do it. Good trick building a boat in 18 hours, still fun
