Etienne thanks for the links, I enjoy seeing what others are up to. Even though I do not have sheer clamps I believe I will still proceed with this method. The deck is rather stiff with the inside glassed and the outside sealed with epoxy. I have moved it around and it is holding it's shape well.
On another note I noticed your bulkheads. Is that a foam border between the wood bulkhead and the hull/deck? I have read the pro/con of wood verse foam bulkheads, looks like you have a happy medium.
