If you're using half inch plywood as floorboard, then yeah, an iron butt might help!
On my latest, the Sea Rover (which I love to post pictures of), I used 1/4 inch WRC slats for flooring, though. Not only are they thinner than the ply, but they flex enough so that they are both comfortable, and they lower my COG a wee bit more as well.
I'm good for at least a couple of hours, and it'd be more except that my boat is too tight to move around in.

Just a thought.
