: a lot of this cheap wood in my kayaks. They also have lots of exotic woods
: from all around the world. But I have bought Cherry, Red and White oak,
: Yellow popular, Walnut and more for 50 cents a pound, all clear, kiln
: dried and milled four sides. They are cut off from boards much bigger
: boards. So do check around your area. I've found Menards to be a great
: place to get Western Red Cedar at a cheap price if you don't mind sorting
: through stacks of wood.

Menards, Lowes sometimes have fairly decent red cedar, usually it's crap, just have to check back fairly often in the spring thru early summer when it's used alot.
