I printed out your suggestions. I have another problem getting rid of my regular telephone line. I have a couple of flat screen TVs each connected to Direct TV HD receivers that are updated constantly through telephone lines connected to them. For instance they will soon be updated from 1080i resolution to a higher 1080p. So it would seems I could have several services I need that could be served by one high-speed glass fiber line if we were only wired here in the rural area. I do have a Trac cell phone where you just buy the minutes on a card but I have never activated it, because it just seems to be another partial solution in this mish mash of parts.
Thanks,
John
