Wow - that's about 120% more than what prices were maybe a year ago?
Check other thicknesses and material specs - their prices can vary widely depending on special performance characteristics or material certification. For example, non-certified fasteners can be more expensive than MIL spec or SAE graded fasteners that are otherwise identical.
: I priced 5/8" 4x4 sheets at McMaster Carr. I am sure there are cheaper
: sources but close to $200 a sheet! I will stick with wood.
