: OK, I 'assumed' it was out of print since it wasn't available at Amazon and
: based on the $50 used prices. But what do I know??
Canoecopia is coming up in March in Madison WI. Come on up and you'll find lots of books for sale, including many which are out of print, those from small presses, and a few that are still warm from the Xerox machine. Last year I got a pamphlet from an Indian exhibit. In the back it had a description on how to trim and sew three walrus hides to get a piece large enough to cover an Umiak. Not sure I'll ever have a need for that kind of information, (walrus skins are hard to come by in my neighborhood) but the pamphlet was under $2.
