Personally I wouldn't want to use pigment while I'm working with the glass, anything you add to the resin will make saturating the glass slower and more difficult, to me that's a bad idea. For the fill coats it wouldn't matter if it was colored. It'll still need paint as the resin even with the pigment isn't entirely UV resistant, so I'm not sure you gain anything by using the pigment.
