In realizing the "anklebone is connected to the legbone........." it is time to think footbraces. I am looking for a recommendation for the adjustable kind which I can mount w/o drilling through the hull.

I also have another question: When it comes to artistic stripping on the deck, is it not feasible/appropriate to take thin strips and snake them across the deck, crossing the center, if the deck shape crests or v's at the center, like the Great Auk.
