: It's 15' foot long. 23" beam, very fine entry. Tried to minimize the
: hull resistance at the 3-4.5 mph range since that is where most people
: paddle. Settled on the a 14.5' water line after a lot of number crunching.
: That appears to be the sweet spot for this speed.

: Any shorter and it needs to be wider to keep it's stability and resistance
: goes up. Longer the resistance goes up at our design speeds. The people
: Randy has in mind are not sprinters. They are day paddles our for a few
: hours. Leisurely paddle. So I guess this is sort of a Rec. Boat?
